Abstract:
This research paper presents the design and development of an algorithm for automatic image captioning. The goal of this study is to create a system that can generate accurate and meaningful captions for images, thereby enhancing the accessibility and understanding of visual content. The proposed algorithm combines computer vision techniques with natural language processing to analyze and interpret the visual features of an image, and then generate a descriptive caption that accurately represents the content. The effectiveness of the algorithm is evaluated through extensive experimentation and comparison with existing captioning methods. The results demonstrate the algorithm’s ability to generate captions that are both informative and coherent, thereby showcasing its potential for various applications in image understanding and retrieval.
