Abstract:
This research project aims to investigate the impact of climate change on urban planning strategies in coastal cities. With rising sea levels and increased frequency of extreme weather events, coastal cities are facing significant challenges in terms of infrastructure, land use, and community resilience. This study will analyze the current urban planning strategies in coastal cities and assess their effectiveness in addressing climate change impacts. By examining case studies and conducting surveys and interviews with urban planners, policymakers, and community members, this research will provide valuable insights into the adaptation and mitigation measures needed to enhance the resilience of coastal cities in the face of climate change.
