Investigating the Role of Beneficial Microbes in Enhancing Nutrient Uptake and Plant Growth in Crops. MSC

Abstract:
This research project aims to investigate the role of beneficial microbes in enhancing nutrient uptake and plant growth in crops. Beneficial microbes, such as plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) and mycorrhizal fungi, have been shown to form symbiotic relationships with plants, facilitating nutrient acquisition, improving soil structure, and enhancing plant growth. Understanding the mechanisms by which these microbes interact with crops and influence nutrient uptake can lead to the development of sustainable agricultural practices. The study will involve laboratory experiments, greenhouse trials, and field evaluations to assess the impact of beneficial microbes on nutrient availability, plant growth, and crop productivity. The findings of this research will contribute to the development of microbial-based strategies for enhancing nutrient uptake and improving crop performance.
